What is a prosthodontist?
Dr. Pandich is a prosthodontist, which means she has specialized training and focuses on cosmetics and functional reconstruction. Some specialized prosthodontic treatments include replacement of missing, broken, or discolored teeth and tissues with natural-looking substitutes such as crowns, bridges, veneers, dentures, and implant prostheses.
After the completion of dental school and a one year general practice residency, Dr. Pandich completed three additional years of rigorous specialized training. This training gave her the expertise required to understand smile dynamics, the ability to preserve and recreate a healthy mouth, and the extensive laboratory skills needed to handle the materials used to restore and replace teeth expertly.
